Our projects

Projects for the school year 2010/2011

• Rebuilding of our sewage works - VUC October- November 2010
• Modern education in modern school Successful EU project Education– 1.1 Traditional school is being transformed into modern one – project cost is 168 879,20 EUR, 25 teachers, 3 clerks and 695 students are involved in this project. Project activities started in September 2009 and it finishes in September 2011.
• Improvement of educational process at secondary schools (UIPŠ, National Project) – three teachers take part in this project, which is focused on acquiring competence in using new, progressive teaching methods together with using IT in educational process. The school got 8 PCs, a data projector and three laptops in this project.
• Further education of elementary and secondary school IT teachers. (ŠPU) - teachers involved in this project acquire up-to-date knowledge about IT teaching methods.
• Project "Database" of the Ministry of Education - The Planet of Knowledge is a complex electronic educational system covering main school subjects of the Slovak elementary and secondary school Curriculum.
• Business Schoolgames - Project Business Schoolgames introduces innovative and playful approach to teaching through experimental learning.
• The Green Company is the project of separated waste collection. We separate plastic, alluminium and paper.
• Microsoft IT Academy (MSITA) - cooperation with MSITA bringing benefits such as free participation in trainings sessions and using Microsoft licence politics.

Projects in the school year 2009/2010

• The World College of the Adriatic z Duina - a week- stay of three our students at the international secondary school in May 2010 The World College of the Adriatic in Duine, Italy
• Business Schoolgames
• Invisible heroes against the Communist Regime in the years 1945-1967
• The project IT in the educatinal system – We received 4 laptops for teachers from INFOVEK / INFOAGE/ as the reward for our active participation in INFOVEK educational projects.
• Interactive classroom from the County Council BB - We were given the equipment for this kind of classroom from the County Council BB.
• The World College of the Adriatic z Duina – we welcomed four students from this international secondary school for a month-stay in December 2009 The World College of the Adriatic in Duine, Italy
