School achievements

• Gymnázium Ľudovíta Štúra in Zvolene was the first secondary school in Slovakia having access to the Internet on 14th March 1993
• In 2002, our school has been evaluated as the "Most active INFOVEK school in Slovakia"
• The rector of the Comenius University in Bratislava, Doc. PhDr. František Gahér, CSc approved of excellent study results of our students in his letter of the year 2005 in Comenius University entrance exams
• Student of the 4.A class, Peter Sluka, was invited to spend a week- stay in the scientific institution CERN in Switzerland for his brilliant results in Physical Competiton in 2008
